This film is based off a true story and an adaptation of that was written in a novel called Heist. Now I cannot speak on how true it stays to the story nor can I speak on how accurate it is compared to the novel, however I can say that going into this film with an open mind, really aided with my enjoyment of the film. From the nostalgic scenes of N.C. (Asheville specifically) to the accents,

Totally hilarious

funny, but not as funny as the trailers made it out to be

The movie was decent. There were some funny moments, I laughed out loud a couple of times, but there was also quite a bit of toilet humor that seemed a bit excessive. For all that this is based on a true story, I have to imagine there was considerable license involved in the interpretation. The main characters seem a little unrealistic and almost caricatures, at times. Still, it was funny.
