This movie was a total surprise to me. Started off a little slow in the beginning . But the rest of the movie was great. Opened my eyes to a whole new view on the church. Over the years you know we hear a lot of different things. But this movie showed what really went on. I would definitely recommend this movie to my friends an family.

This tense drama had me involved from the beginning. The acting was outstanding especially that of Mark Ruffalo and Michael Keaton. The victim interviews were intense and clearly showed how their youth had been stolen and subsequent life forever affected. Definitely five stars and Academy Award nominations.

A very powerful story, based on true events. So sad to know this kind of abuse has been going on for years. Difficult subject, but amazing performances by Mark Ruffalo and Michael Keaton
