A fun enthralling science fiction adventure that had very impressive visuals and was mostly dramatically satisfying. My only problem with the film was that is didn't quite feel like it could stand on its own. It felt like this was definitely a part one, but not in a way that felt natural. Better examples of satisfying parts one of a movie series would be the lord of the rings or IT part.

Started off slow but kept you intrigued. Moved faster than the book which in my opinion is a good thing

Didn't have high expectations of movie, because it isn't a genre I usually enjoy, but was pleasantly surprised that I was engaged and didn't want to miss anything. Only thing I was disappointed with was that left you with a cliffhanger type ending. Personally I don't like having to wait for sequel to know what will happen.

It's worth going to the theater for the score and sound effects, it will surely win awards for it. The runtime is long but it has good pacing. Dune exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to watch the sequel.
