The film certainly had some moving and entertaining scenes, and performances were very good overall. Sometimes the script seems to be checking off boxes in a perfunctory way, like "the lead characters have a healthy marriage," and "she is discriminated against at school," and this can feel formulaic. Her stumbling at trial before triumphing also seems overplayed for dramatic effect, but overall I enjoyed the film quite a bit.

Hard not to admire the tenacity of this extraodinary woman. Both Felicity Jones and Arnie Hammer were excellent.Perhaps the center of movie could have been condensed a bit, but overall, a movie worth seeing.
