Acting was fine but needed less time on certain scenes.

We see this in our day to day lives even in 2017...it should have been more on the documentary side...I think I would have engaged more so

This movie was a documentary that shows lots of police brutality.

A very timely movie given what is going on with racial tensions in the US...But, this movie was too long and slow-paced at times. The interrogation scene was over 30min long and pushed beyond excessive in illustrating what happened in the Algiers Hotel. Also, there's a lot of camera steadiness issues in this film that seem to detract from the film from a quality perspective.
