I had never seen the source material and I liked the story a lot. Scarlett Johansson is a great female action hero.

Very good graphics and decent story too.

Best anime adaptation I have seen. Having to see the 1995 movie, you can compare a lot to this.

Knowing absolutely nothing about the original anime...I did enjoy this movie. I thought it was a fun ride without boring moments but the plot was a little easy. I kind of saw the ending coming but I assume most fans are anime experts that would know the plot already anyway. Thanks
