Fun and informative.

While some of the scenes seemed a bit long, this movie does not disappoint. Come prepared to go through many emotions... Laughter, tears, feeling good and even a bit of hatred at times. Yes, the actors, lead and supporting, are that good.

Fences reminded me of a stage play. Tight ensemble cast, no superficial additions to the stellar cast.It was very dark, deep and reflective of life for African Americans in the late 1950's. Very well done and the movie stays with you, creeping into your thoughts and emotions, very raw.
