Very good movie

Lovely story of struggles to find and keep true love for oneself and with others. Bravo well done! Jazzy kind of love story, love the true to the period styles.

I enjoyed that the music was from "my" era. Memorable jazz from the late 50s, early 60s. The love story was predictable but both characters were appealing and attractive. I liked that Sylvie had a responsible job even though she was a woman and Black.

Excellent Movie. The acting was superb and the storyline interesting--Not dumbed-down or 'Smutty. Furniture, cars, clothing from the era was 'on-point.' I was glad to see African Americans portrayed as professionals and Very glad to see such a positive portrayal of Black women. A very charming movie overall.
