I really enjoyed ‘Dune as did my husband. I felt completely transported and immersed in this other world. It was beautifully filmed and is a fascinating futuristic sci-fi story. Thumbs up!

Only first haft, confusing if haven’t read book.

I don't know how well people who haven't read the book will follow the story, but I thought it was about as good of a Dune movie as there probably can be. I think most of the problems with the movie are baked into the text of the book and I don't think it is possible to really do the book justice on screen. But this was pretty good.

Liz- liked it at first but lost me in the last quarter. would recommend to rent at home if a big sci fi fan.\r\rKai-liked it more than Liz but was not familiar enough with the story to realize this was just part one. It left too much hanging at the end/when will part two be out? Way better in theatres! May not be as good at home.
