There’s no real plot to the movie, there’s a good beginning but no big issue or problem the main character is faced with and has to overcome.

Decent. Not much Aubrey Plaza. Overly sweet. Not enough comedy / jokes. Hit all the regular beats of a coming of age. Felt like an ad for the lake.

I was perhaps not the audience for it. Regardless, I feel that the focus of the movie was a bit scattershot. It’s almost as if the promise of the premise was unfulfilled. But I liked the cast, the setting, and the tone which was very fun. I just wish the plot and premise were developed farther because there is a lot of unexplored depths here.

I just could not get into the movie at all, very slow and, not engaging.
