I was surprised at how good this movie was. I was thinking it would be cheesey like the shows I grew up with but it wasn't. The PG-13 rating is appropriate for the content, there is mild language. The storyline is good and it gives a good back story and sets up how the Rangers came about. The action was good, I wish there was more actual combat scenes with martial arts as opposed to the dinosaurs.

I am happy to see that the Power Rangers movie did not deviate too much from first series Power Rangers TV show. Certain new concepts such as the team going through difficulties learning to morph and the history of Zordon and Rita were welcomed. Exciting! What an adventure! Our family loves the new ranger characters! Did not like the opening scene with the camera moving in circles.
