Not enough action but overall a good film and a good plot

Good action, but much of the dialog was beyond hokey to me. Also, the volume of some of the sound effects was literally painful.

Fantastical Norse legends combined with 9th century hardships was a delight to watch. However, old Hollywood tropes of pairing a man 20 years older than his love interest, and too much testosterone raging made my eyes roll.

Good film, gritty and well done, could've been a good 15 minutes shorter, probably didn't need as much repeating that he needs to avenge his father... I enjoyed the deliberate slower pace at first, then it became a bit repetitive...
