It was a good movie. Not fond of 3D though.

i was not familiar with the 1996 story so it was very moving. seeing it on an Imax screen made it feel so realistic. I could have done without the 3D - it was a workout for my eyes. I thought it was well done except it skimmed around some of the story lines and ended suddenly. good story to be told for sure.

It is a very chilling and intense adventure up the biggest summit in the world, but it does get confusing on the where they are at any given point and what day/time it is. They show a map at the beginning of the climb and I almost wish that they would have super imposed that over the images of each opening campsite shot so that we knew where we were. Great cast and well done enough that you care about the characters' well-being from start to finish. Very impressive in 3D iMax.

Intense subject matter, terrific acting and spectacular cinematography. Enjoyed the movie.
