It was horrible. It should be a movie on TNT cable tv.

Unfortunately, I think this movie had a lot of lazy writing, inconsistent editing, and insufficient character development. I did not feel emotionally invested in Chloe Grace Moretz's character at all because I was not given enough of her backstory. Her friend was also made to be too ditzy near the start of the film for me to particularly like her. This was partly because the dialogue during the first act was so poor. The film's cinematography was beautiful at least and Isabelle Huppert gave a great performance but these were not enough to salvage what I think was, overall, a mess of a film.

Very weak. Obvious plot. Good performances, yes, but ending ridiculous

It was too slow and boring. There was only about 20 mintues overall that were good.
