I would recommend the movie. The writers/actors did a good job of creating interest around this case. I would like to see a follow up movie movie about Willie Gary and his story and one that follows Hal.

This was an exceptional film. I was completely engaged and entertained. The acting was superb and the writing was clever and highly intelligent. This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It handled the theme of race relations in a realistic, honest, fair, and respectful way for all the characters, without cliches or vilifying anyone stereotypically. It was amazing to see how all the characters changed, no one was given moral high ground unquestioningly, and they were allowed to make mistakes and experience the consequences. A brilliant movie.
