A really well done war romance-epic. The clapping at the end was warranted.Enjoyed the acting and cinematography. Some parts are a bit predictable as these things go, but still very good. (But there was the scene, by the river, when most of the theater gasped!)We came home and read more about that war/genocide. So sad; and a reflection on what is still happening on the world today.

Interesting story that told a part of history that I was not aware of.

It was a moving true story of the Armenian genocide in the early 20th century. It was enlightening to have the background on the Armenian community in Watertown. It was quite sad. The characters were perhaps a tad one-dimensional, but overall I thought it was well acted and the story was well crafted. I would recommend to others.
