There are a lot of positives about this movie, but some incongruities as well. As to how he would be allowed to keep on gambling and why he called himself not a gambler. Where was the rest, the cutting room floor?

This was only ok for me. Jessica Lange tore up her scenes - go girl, BUT ill never buy Mark as a univeristy professor.

I didn't know what to expect from this movie...it was good. but not edge of my seat exciting good. Could have been more drama with the sharks and collecting the money. A bit of overacting in Jessica Lange's part. John Goodman was good...appeared soft but a true shark. Would recommend this movie as a 'should see', but maybe not a 'must see'.
