Easy to watch very nostalgic and fun and most importantly it conveyed the best message that one can have a direct relatioship with God and religion is not really the best guage for one’s sprituality or even kindness or good deeds. I will have my 11,13, and 15 yr old daughters see this in theaters. Its so refreshing to see movies like this on the big screen to take a break from CG, noisy Marvel mov

The detail to the 1970's was great. The movie followed the book fairly well, but is't been 43 years since I read it. Director captured the "emotion" of the characters well.

It was very well done. Abby does an excellent job as a young shy teenager, and the whole cast is excellent. Writer/Director Kelly has done a great job of capturing the key themes of the movie. I was very impressed by the overall production.

The movie portrayed humbling reminders of adolescent years full of wonder, disappointments, embarrassing moments and lifelong experiences.
