The sound quality was bad. \rWas not as funny as previous one. The script needed work.

My 80-yo mother loved the movie! For me, though, it felt very contrived and formulaic. There wasn’t much of a story until about the final quarter of the movie. Until that point it just felt like a to-do list: let’s have four elderly women do a lot of cliched stuff in a romantic foreign country, let’s give them some raunchy jokes, etc. \r\rI think it’s great that Hollywood isn’t relegating older female actors to the dust heap like they used to, but I would rather see their talent used in something with a little more meaning. That’s probably just me, though.
