While a fun, silly action movie, this iteration of Charlie’s Angels had a lot to live up to. Unfortunately, it doesn’t manage to capture the magic of the early 2000s version. That said, I had a lot of fun watching the movie. Kristen Stewart clearly enjoyed playing herself in this and I enjoyed watching her play herself. Elizabeth Banks had a lot to prove after the mess that was Pitch Perfect 2, and I think this movie was a step in the right direction for her.

It was just OK. Good enough, for some entertainment.

The movie could have been better if there was a bit more background on the engineer/programmer and it was explained when/how she finally decided to contact Bosley. Her meeting with him without any reasoning after not knowing what the black card was about was weird. Also, her acting was too unbelievable. It has potential if you edit it better.
