Liked it. I cried.

It was different from most films now-a-days with the actual dynamics of a relationship. She was awkward and she rambled which gave the audience someone to connect with. I do believe the whole “Not Popular Girl” and the “Jock but Not Guy” thing is overplayed, but the movie is very well done. Quite the tear jerker at the end as well. I’m very glad the movie didn’t just end at her death, for closure.

This film was a great romantic teen film. While a little cheesy at times it only added to the charm. There was a surprising amount of humor, which made it unique from the countless teen films that just focus on the drama. Additionally, the tissues were definitely needed at the end!

It was a very nice movie. I liked the story a lot and thought it was very original. The acting was very good and made me feel like they were real people. I didn’t think that I would get emotional watching the movie, but I did. I had a great time watching Midnight Sun.
