I liked it and was very entertained. I wish I could have gotten a better look at the monster! It went by so fast I missed it. Other than that it was fairly scary. Many things went unexplained however.

I thought the movie was good for the film that it was. Some parts really scared me and other parts I felt as though it was similar to many teenage horror films. I did enjoy the cinematography alot and thought they used the first movie creatively.

The sound design in this film was fantastic! I would suggest submitting it for an oscar consideration. Unfortunately, the first 30 minutes of the film was too long. Showing people we dont care about "partying" is not something we needed to see. Too much time was wasted on getting them INTO the woods. With that said, the end was terrifying! Great modern day interpretation to the original!

The 1st act is standard Found Footage story, 2nd act was over filled with fake-out jump scares and people screaming other peoples names in the middle of the woods. The Third act was pretty good, but I was so jaded by the time it came around I couldn't get truly captivated.
