Well done movie. Entertainment as it should be. Poient "life lessons"...

Great film. Felt it had too sudden an ending, though. Would have liked it if there was a little more after the phone call. More visual closure. Seeing that his father had died instead of a sentence on-screen. I realize Rick just got released, but to see him on film would have been great. Overall excellent performance by McConaughey - didn't actually recognize him until the final scene.

Great storytelling, and fantastic music. Accurately matched style and culture.
