I went to see the movie strictly because my 10-year-old wanted to see it, and I fully expected it to be a movie geared towards kids. I certainly didn't expect it to be a "human" (cyborg?) interest story that was produced by Michael Bay. As the prequel to the cartoon from the '80s, it gave the backstory to Orion Pax and D-16, and how they came to be Optimus Prime and Megatron.

This is a fun and action packed addition to the Transformer franchise. I think kids of all ages will enjoy this latest movie.

It's a decent movie for a casual night. The storyline is ok, not very heartwarming, but it's a good effort that entertains, even if it doesn't leave a lasting impression.
