As we and the rest of the audience were viewing the film, a fire alarm sounded ending the show. We missed the ending, although I am sure it could be classified as "happy".

A cute movie.

The good thing: costume design was great for that late 50's or early 60's period.\r\rBad: characters did not engage me. Silly idea for a cleaning lady to spend so much money on a Dior gown. Thought some more engaging subplots about Harris' character would have involved me more in the movies. I.E. Harris' role in turning Dior biz around, her strongly standing up to her user-clients.\r\rNot an engaging film for males. What was point of garbage men strike in Paris for movie? Why would a Dior model who has a short life span anyway, find her modeling career so empty and walk away from it.?

This is not a movie I would normally go see. It was entertaining, and was a wholesome film.
