My husband thought it was Eggers' best film.

I was puzzled by the movie. The movie reminded me of a Greek tragedy. Although I am not sure if really would qualify as one. There was simply too much violence that overshadowed the idea of kindness versus violence.

It is an OK movie...not bad...not the greatest either...was hoping for a little less build up and more action. Overall an OK movie.

It was excessively gory. There's violence, there's glorification of violence, and then there's this movie. \rThe acting was forced for a few of the actors. \r\rI thought it would be best to go in having but seen any trailers so I wouldn't have any preconceived notions, but maybe I should prequalify next time.
