It was ok

I enjoyed it somewhat. It seemed that the main star, Downey, was the straight man to the talking animals who had the funniest lines. The adults in the audience I was with laughed more than the kids laughed. The animals looked really real and that's a compliment to the animators.

Action and adventure movies aren’t my most favorite, but given that this is the genre of this film, it was pretty good. Robert Downey Jr. was good, and the overall storyline, especially the beginning and the end, made for a good film. This was Indiana Jones meets Pirates of the Caribbean meets Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

It was good. Kind of a slow start. Had more laugh out loud moments than I expected. Not a sequel to the other Dr. Dolittle movies.
