"Heartwarming" is a good one-word description of the movie. The multiple scenes of homosexual activity became more of a distraction than an enhancement to the story. One scene to let us know that Elliott is gay would have sufficed. Then, giving us the love story of her and Chad making her question her own sexuality would have been more important, especially since it becomes obvious that he would be the only true love that Elliott ever has. Overall, we left with an appreciation of the little things our lives, and hopefully taught us not to take our family and friends for granted.

Liked the story line. Did not need to see the characters making out, groping and such. Almost walked out of the movie

I think the title is kinda' offputting. It doesn't draw you to the movie. The story was interesting but part of the character development seemed to be misguided. I think it would have been better if there was more interaction between Elliot and Chad and more development of their family dynamic as they seemed supportive but oblivious towards each other's personal development.

My opinion on MY OLD ASS is that the message was clear... Enjoy life now, don't worry about your past or future.
