I knew that it would be a little wacky because of the director, and I was definitely gripped by the whole thing. I do feel like the movie had some interesting messages that were kind of thrown by the wayside in favor of being absurd which isn't inherently wrong but it left me wanting a little more ambiguity.

It was so predictable. How unfortunate.

Beautiful film, great performance by the two leads. Good mix of comedy and drama. It's the writer's/director's story to tell, but for me, the film kind of fell apart (in terms of my emotional investment) towards the end as we discover that Emma Stone's character is an alien. Just too much of a twist for me that raised way more questions than it answered.

a good movie. The film lacked a little attention of the Teddy character and more window into his absurd insane worldview.
