a movie for the entire family to watch and enjoy

Cool animation. The story moves a little slow but probably fine for a child. The 3D is not impressive in this movie. Skip paying extra for it.

The movie was fun and exceeded my expectations. The animation, especially during the origami sequences, was great. At times it was perhaps a little dark for smaller children but overall, Kubo is a great family film.

See KUBO in 2D. No cool effects in 3D and the mostly night scenes hard to see with extra darkening by the 3D glasses. The 'fighting the evil family' theme more for adults than kids.
