It was funny and nice. The plot not as captivating as expected but a decent play of the actors. The main character plays well. Depiction of post war era England and France in settings, decorations, costume and make up was played well.

It's an innocuous fairy tale of a movie with plenty of feel-good happy endings--something escapist and much needed in these fraught times. The characters veer towards caricature in some cases (esp the Parisian accountant with his unrequited love of the introspective reluctant model) but nothing at all offensive. A very old-fashioned movie but enjoyable none the less.

Les acteurs étaient bons, les images de Paris et surtout les robes étaient fantastiques. C'est un bon film détente.

Enjoyable but not thought provoking, fluff film.
