It was amazing!!

It was tense, captivating, extremely well-written and featured stand-out performances by Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson and Kyliegh Curran, the last of whom stole the show. I think it was a thoughtful adaptation of King’s novel and did a fantastic job of bridging the gap between it and The Shining and what was left out of the first film in particular.

a well done slow burn horror film, which does not rely on all the jump scares, shocks and gore of most modern horror films, but rather focuses on character development, atmosphere and story telling. Although the ending was easily predicted within the first 10 minutes of the film, the ride to get there was still very much enjoyable.

a good horror/suspense movie, kept you on edge the whole duration of the movie.
