The girl power aspect is pretty heavy handed, but it was still fun to watch. It's disappointing that they had to frame the story on Patrick Stewart being a turncoat, which is all too similar to how things were handled in the first Mission Impossible film.

it is better than I expected, quite entertaining.

Okay movie. Would recommend to people who like going to the movies for the sheer movie going experience, not story. The movie is quite casual. Reasonable action scenes. At some point in the movie, characters feel like they have established a deeper bond. When, why and how that bond got established is quite a mystery. There are a couple of instances of obvious CGI that break immersion.
