You never know what to expect anymore going to the movies. Everything is a sequel or a remake or whatever. Hotel Artemis I think takes an interesting page from John Wick, in the sense that you have this hotel which caters to criminals, but takes it in an entirely different direction. A bit of a strange vehicle for Jodie Foster, but she sold it beautifully. Totally worth your time to see this.

This is a fun movie. It’s overstuffed with characters. The actors all do good work but it’s hard to get a good sense with all the moving parts. The movie never gives a chance for the tension to really escalate. The short run time is nice but I’d be glad t have traded it for like 30 more minutes of characters interacting Jodie Foster is terrific as always and I love Dave Bautista and sterlingbrown

A little drawn out in certain parts but still a very good film and nice concept
