Not bad. But not good. Worthy of a one time watch.

Seeing Sean Penn back on the sliver screen was great. He is still a good actor and the movie was good action packed with a sprinkle of humor. Good cast selection, however the plot, well you could see it coming. A twist would have give the movie 5 stars.

Occasionally gripping, gritty, and bloody telling of a lone gunman, as it were, played by a predominantly and surprisingly super-buff, naked Sean Penn. Oh, yeah, and Mark Rylance, Javier Bardem, and Ray Winstone trading chewed scenery. Hilarious (unintentional?) detail: Idris Elba's character's initials are "JB" - a not-too subtle hint that he has been cast as the new and future James Bond??

This action role was a stretch for Penn, story line was decent although many unneeded scenes that added nothing, and detracted from what was happening.
