Good movie verry history but it was good

Not sure what I expected but it was a bit slow going. It did have a good history lesson with a touch of humor. That was a definite plus. For some reason, I expected more action along with this.

Its a history lesson of the World war 2 German invasion of Belgium and France told through the eyes of Winston Churchill while he tries to succeed as newly appointed prime minister of the United Kingdom. Purely drama. No action. If you are a history buff and appreciate great acting (arguably Gary Oldman's best performance besides The Fifth Element) this one is for you, but it's no summer blockbuster popcorn flick.
