While I really enjoyed the plot, the movie was pretty sick. So many gross parts dealing with animals, with lots of blood, with the issue of incest, and various experiments. I am glad I saw it because the acting was wonderful, the plot was intriguing, and the scenery was absolutely GORGEOUS, but I would not be able to recommend it to my friends or family to see.

This was a mashup of Shutter Island, which I liked, with Crimson Peak, which I loathed. If they left out the supernatural elements, I think I would have enjoyed it much more.

Starts out with a man trying to find where a co worker from work is at. He goes looking for him, ends up doing something else. There are twists and turns to keep you guessing. This movie is a horror/thriller/mystery and it executes that well. There are times you get lost and there are a few holes in the story but if you pay attention till the end it will all make sense.
