Definitely a chick flick and a quirky flip of the gender roles in the golden age of Hollywood. The ladies steal the show on all levels and that leaves the men standing around like oafs. Filming in Rome, Venice and Florence can never be a mistake and using the Italian versions of pop songs was an unexpected thrill. There was some whacky editing of one of the most beautiful melodies in the history of music (Pachelbel’s Canon) and if it was done intentionally, it was just cruel. The script kept me interested despite some predictable gags. Your girlfriends will love it; the guys, not-so-much.

Fun, cute girls’ film with gorgeous scenery a few unexpected surprises. Good balance of story time for the 4 female leads. Well matched with the guys partnered with them for a bit of romance. \rI smiled throughout the movie.

Super fun sequel!
