This film was great on every level - writing, acting, casting, directing, producing, music - you name it - I've been recommending it to all of my friends! This was my second viewing and I enjoyed just as much the second time around. The first time I watched it was an early morning matinee on Christmas morning at our local AMC Theatres. I live in Northern Utah, so I had originally wanted to see at the Sundance Film Festival 2020, but I wasn't able to get tickets to a screening, but this was worth the wait. Kudos to Emerald Fennell and Carey Mulligan!!!

I thought this film was dark, poignant, and ultimately a very dark and realistic portrayal of what's it's like to live as a woman in this world. The contrast between the colors, music, screenwriting, and the darkness of the actual film was fantastic, and Carey Mulligan deserves every single award for this movie. It's intentional, dramatic irony to end the film this way, and (controversial as it is) it was the correct way to end it.

AMAZING!!. The premise of this movie was so poignant I had to watch this movie. The trailer alone hooked me and the soundtrack throughout the entire movie was on point. The casting was perfect and the script lacked nothing. Not only did the entire story have me clinging on, the ending was nothing like I expected but I was not disappointed.

It was not what I was expecting as a storyline. Great film. I was semi-bawling my eyes out.
