I liked it better than Arrival

Loved 90% of the movie and its moral dilemma. The ending action sequences spoiled it for me as they were beyond credibility. But I liked the very end and found the film thought-provoking!

A fun, human, light science fiction (no need to study up to enjoy this movie) story that does have a more serious core. The actors both put considerable chops into a movie that looks like a "major motion picture" but has the heart of an independent film. Human characters in a grounded situation having to deal with life's troubles, and not always making the best decision. Best of all, It has heart, it doesn't forget to enjoy the premise, but doesn't let you off the hook either.

The special effects were breath taking, really felt like I was in space. I was amazed how well CG elements were layout in the film. The story line was kinda of predicable but still enjoyable to watch.
