Denzel was great. Suitable spectacle

It was too gory and graphic for me with my expectations from the first film. But the depiction of nature such as sand, flower, and the flashback were really nostalgic and immersive to reconnect this film with the first one as an audience, which was really intriguing.

Good action and spectacles but the first one is a classic movie

Gladiator II is riveting and the plot twists and turns throughout. However, it was confusing to see Lucius as Lucilla and Maximus’ son, since in the original, Maximus doesn’t meet him until he’s a young child, unless I’m missing something. Unfortunately, while entertaining, it doesn’t hold a candle to the original.
