I really enjoyed my experience with Hell or High Water. The plot wasn't what got me; it was the characters that made me care, namely, Chris Pine and Ben Foster as the thieving brothers, Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham as cop partners. The film surprisingly had a lot of humor, which never compromised the seriousness of what was going on. By the end I was genuinely moved. I would give it an 8/10.

Great movie - bringing in a sense of different emotions from brotherly love and loyalty, to friendship and loyalty - all coming full circle to a final face-off of respect.

Great screenplay, cinematography, and acting. Captured tone of West Texas towns well.
