An enjoyable romp, with Guy Ritchie's customary humor, although played a bit too much for laughs considering the true story on which it is based, with its high risks and stakes. The cast is very fun to watch, including Henry Cavill as the devil may care mission leader, Alan Ritchson as the most bombastic of his crew, Eiza Gonzalez as the femme fatale, Babs Olusanmokun as a suave double agent, and Til Schweiger as the Nazi baddie. It's well paced and – while it may not keep you at the edge of your seat – it should have you get up afterward with a sense of satisfaction.

I’m typically not one for war movies, but this one is really great! You get humor, action, suspense and more. It’s has something for almost everyone!

A part of WWII history that I was unaware of.

Simply put the movie is a lot of fun with witty humor, big explosions, fast-paced action, and lots of Nazi-slaughtering. Guy Ritchie brings to the screen a true story of a ragtag group of unofficial black-ops specialists to help free the North Atlantic from Nazi domination. Henry Cavill masterfully demonstrates Ritchie’s sense of snarky humor. In truth, the entire cast was perfectly selected and performed their roles well. It’s a very entertaining film if you want a simply fun, funny, action adventure.
