Extremely well put together film! The casting and animation direction are stellar, and the script's story and humor are both indicative of Wes Anderson's charm.

Awash in the same kind of weirdness that makes any Wes Anderson movie, Isle of Dogs is also extremely fun, energetic, and hopeful in tone despite the dark happenings.

It was visually intriguing to watch. The movie was paced well, just when it seemed to get a little too heavy, there would be a quip or irony or a joke to lighten it up. Loved the taiko drum music, little confused about why Lt. Kije ( from Russia and a sleigh ride scene) was played.I plan to see it again and recommend it to others.

Beautiful craftsmanship.. a marvel to watch even on that alone. An indulgence into the unique corner of Wes Anderson’s vision. Charmed and smiling even through the darkness in the tale.
