I enjoyed this biography about JD Salinger. It keep me interested and was entertaining. Now I want to re-read "Catcher in the Rye".

While Rebel in the Rye won't win any Oscars, it's a tad slow and by the numbers it is a worthy biography on the very private JD Slainger. Excellent cast. Kevin Spacey is entertaining as always.

Well acted but the main character elicited no empathy and it was hard to relate to him. Yes, I know Salinger was a rebel, but he was not a nice person!

Good looking young actor but story not convincing.
