This is a very real contemporary story. But there is nothing ordinary about this film. Very complicated and told with humour and compassion. A fresh script, very funny, perfectly cast characters. Everyone does a great believable job. Great entertainment and a fun date night.

The film felt very genuine and heartfelt, without sacrificing any of the comedy. It is very rare for a movie to find a perfect balance between heart and comedy. A very funny and beautiful movie.

Loved the humour and the non conventional love story. The ending was great! So cool it is true as well.

First I will say that I always love movies based on true events! Fantastic cast and very humorous interaction between Kumail, Emily and their families. Their relationship stayed strong and succeeded, despite the strong cultural differences between the couple and the families. Just goes to show one that True Love takes the lead over religious beliefs and traditions!
