This is a wonderful classic film about a mother-daughter relationship, a recent widow coping with loss and how to fill the void in her life, and it's all done with a great sense of humour lacking any unpleasant mockery. Rose Byrne was sweetly vulnerable, Susan Sarandon impressively bared her soul and JK Simmons was gorgeous and funny. It is not a teen flick or a chick flick. Go to it!!
