I absolutely loved the presentation of Mary J. Blige’s documentary. Actual accounts, footage and animation all came together to tell a story of how a young girl recognized, struggled and thrived through life’s hardships. Her tragedies and triumphs have always been reflected in her music and is greatly appreciated by those understand the place where she sings from. Personally I would like to say Queen MJB, I love you and thank you for sharing he gift of yourself.

I learned a lot about Mary J Blige's life in general, because I never followed her as an artist, although I have all of her CD's.\r\rI liked how she opened up about the darkness in her life, and how she overcame a lot of misery.

It was amazing, loved it! Can’t wait to watch it again.
