What a great surprise! Of course, the story is superb. In addition the actors are excellent. Visually, the film is interesting and beautiful. A really enjoyable film.

Resplendent, buoyant, poignant, and more than just an adaptation of the book. This is a movie for Louisa May Alcott, and I think that's just so special. I really loved it.
