Great start to the new season! We’re excited to watch the next episodes. My husband couldn’t stop comparing the storyline and visuals with HBO’s House of Dragons, and I have to agree that this season’s The Rings of Power is 100 times better.

I think the first episode was better than all of season one combined. The story was closer to Tolkien work,

Well written and presented. Writing seemed much tighter than season 1. Brought a guest that hadn’t seen season 1 and she was able to follow the story; well done! Audience was frustrated that the show didn’t start at the advertised time (7:00). No announcement or anything. When someone asked the theatre staff, they were told the show wasn;t starting until 7:30. That should have been included in the reservations. Other than that, a great evening!

Season two is a big improvement over season one, both in terms of pacing and segmenting storylines. Actors seem to have settled in their characters with more nuanced performances. The opening of season two was a highlight, setting the tone for the season.
